We're Proud of Our History

HERITAGE

HRI Commercial Realty was founded in 2000 by Warren "Doug" Miller.

We are extremely proud of our heritage and the impact that Doug had on the Beavercreek community. His vision and leadership helped lay the foundation for the great company HRI has become.

Doug Miller spent the first part of his life as a decorated and proud member of the U.S. Marine Corps.

His Marine service took him to Hawaii in the early 70s, and it was there that he jumped into real estate. His passion for making deals and helping clients in real estate really took hold and set a firm course for the rest of his life.

By the early 90s, he was back in Beavercreek, Ohio, with his sights set on an ambitious new undertaking…developing a mall in the middle of a cornfield. His foresight and dogged determination would eventually help lead to the development of the Fairfield Commons Mall retail district.

In 2000, Doug founded HRI Commercial Realty and devoted most of his time to helping fill the local area with stores, restaurants, hotels, office buildings, homes, apartments, and even a hospital. Within a few short years, HRI became the number one commercial real estate firm in Greene County.

Over the years, HRI grew into one of the largest firms in the entire Dayton region. Doug’s firm commitment to excellence and integrity inevitably led to great success in commercial real estate.

Doug Miller will always be remembered as a larger-than-life figure who was extremely passionate about commercial real estate, his clients, and his firm, HRI Commercial Realty.
